1. Scope
This policy applies to purchases of FluidEdits licenses, subscriptions, or related digital products sold through our authorized checkout provider, Lemon Squeezy.
2. Digital products
FluidEdits is a digital product. By purchasing, you acknowledge that delivery begins when your license or access is issued or made available.
3. Refund eligibility (general)
Unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law in your country, refunds are not guaranteed after license delivery.
We may offer refunds or credits where:
- There was a duplicate charge or clear billing error;
- You could not activate the license due to a verified technical failure on our side and support could not resolve it within 5 business days;
- Required by law (for example statutory withdrawal rights for EU/UK consumers—see Section 5).
We generally do not refund where:
- You changed your mind after successful activation;
- Your environment (browser, network, corporate policy) blocks the Service;
- You violated the Terms of Service;
- A chargeback was initiated—please contact support first.
4. How to request a refund
Email contact@fluidedits.com with:
- Order reference / receipt
- Email used at checkout
- Description of the issue and troubleshooting already tried
We typically respond within 5 business days.
If Lemon Squeezy processes refunds on our behalf, we may instruct you to complete the request through their customer portal or support flow.
5. EU / UK consumers — right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you qualify as a consumer under EU/UK law, you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts.
Checkout controls: This section is descriptive. Mandatory consumer rights (including withdrawal and exceptions for immediate digital delivery) depend on applicable law and the exact terms, confirmations, and checkboxes Lemon Squeezy presents at checkout. That checkout copy and your order confirmation are the operative record for statutory rights—the policy here should stay consistent with those materials.
If withdrawal applies and is not lost, you may be entitled to a refund within the statutory period.
6. Subscriptions
- Cancellation stops renewal; access may continue until the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise on checkout.
- Refunds for partial periods are generally not offered unless required by law or stated on the pricing page.
7. Chargebacks
Chargebacks harm small merchants and may lead to license deactivation. Contact us before disputing with your bank.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; material changes will be noted where appropriate.
